Participation Categories

ERCH2027 is open to everyone!

  • Elite runners are selected by their national federations
  • Mass runners register HERE
  • Runners of all levels—from beginners to seasoned marathoners—are welcome to compete and contribute to their nation’s performance.
Understanding the Country Ranking System

The Country Ranking is a team competition that includes runners of all levels, both elite and amateur.

It sums the net finishing times of the top 25 runners from each country across each race and gender category. Only countries with at least 25 official finishers across all races are included in the ranking.

Whichever country has the lowest total time wins.

In the event of a tie, the nod goes to the country whose last scoring runner finishes closest to the first-place runner.
